Brother Greg is the Pastor at the mega-church called the Christian Fellowship Center in southern Virginia. Recently happily reunited with his childhood friends Robert and Anna-Marie (she is Robert's fiancé). Life seemed perfect for a man with wealth, power, and influence over millions. Greg's life is all a façade. His past and present issues threatened to crumble his empire. 

Grace is his assistant, whose powerful mother encourages her affair with Greg. Robert had warned him that Grace was not entirely human. Greg’s loveless marriage to the daughter of the founder of the Christian Fellowship Center. The Archangel Raphael offers to help Greg defend himself from a pair of fallen angels intent on earthly power. One of them killed his mother and made him an orphan.

To defeat these fallen angels successfully, Greg needs the Ring of Solomon. The Templars entrusted the Ring to the Masons. But the Masons will only hand over the Ring to the person with the correct answer to a challenge phrase.

When Greg finally has the Ring, a showdown with both fallen angels occurs, killing some close to Greg and upending Virginia politics.
